Klozapin tedaviye dirençli şizofrenide etkili bulunmuştur. İlacın etkinliğinin olguların demografik ve klinik özellikleriyle bağlantılı olduğu bildirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, tedaviye dirençli şizofrenide klozapine yanıt ile demografik ve klinik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin gösterilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Cinsiyet, evlilik, eğitim, ekonomik durum, yaş ve hastalanma yaşına göre yapılan değerlendirmelerde, bu değişkenlerin tedaviye etkileri anlamlı bulunmamıştır. Hastalık süresi ve şizofreni alt tiplerinin ise klozapinin etkinliğini anlamlı düzeyde değiştirdiği görülmüştür.

It's find out that clozapine is effective on treatment-resistant schizophrenia. It's reported that the efficacy of the drug is related with the demographic and clinical properties of the cases. In this study the goal is to point out the relation between the answer to the clozapine in treatment-resistant schizophrenia and demographic and clinical parameters. The assessment which includes sexuality, marriage, education, economic situation, age and duration of illnes. These parameters had not been effective to the treatment. It has been observed that the illness period and schizophrenia subtypes changed the clozapine efficacy.
