Hipoksinin bilişsel işlevlere etkisi üzerine karşılaştırmalı bir çalışma

Modern havacılıkta hipoksik hipoksinin olumsuz etkilerini yer koşularında uçuculara yaşatarak eğitim kazandırmak ve araştırmalar yapmak amacıyla Eskişehir GATA Hava ve Uzay Hekimliği Merkezi'nde 1990 yılı son aylarından itibaren kullanmaya başlanan Alçak Basınç Çemberi'nde 100.000 feet irtifa simüle edilebilmektedir. Eğitim çalışmaları için genellikle 30.000 feet irtifa yeterlidir. Uçucuların bu koşullarda hipoksi etkisi altında geliştirdikleri performans bozuklukları kendilerine gösterilerek eğitim yapılmaktadır.
Bu çemberde faydalanılabilir bilinç süreleri dikkate alınarak 30.000 feet irtifanın bilişsel işlevlere etkisinin gösterilmesi amacıyla bu çalışma yapılmıştır.
Denekler; yaş, meslek, eğitim durumu, sosyal yaşam ve ekonomik düzey bakımlarından eşlenmiştir. Araştırmamızda Merkez'e gelen her pilot deneye alınmıştır. Deneye alınan toplam pilot sayısı 320'dir.
Çembere alınan pilotların yarısı 30.000 feet irtifada oksijen maskelerini çıkarttıktan sonra S.D. Porteus Labirentleri, WISC Testi'nde n alınan sembol kodlama Bender-Gestalt testi, 100'de n geri üçer yazma testleri verilmiştir.
Deney ve kontrol gruplarının korelasyon katsayıları; S.D. Porteus Labirentleri'nde ve Sembol Kodlama Testi'nde . 14; Bender-Geştalt Testi'nde . 11; Geri sayma dizisinde ise. 16 mutlak değerlerinin bulunması iki grup arasında anlamlı (p<0.01-p<0.001) bir ilişkinin varlığını göstermektedir. Bu sonuçlara dayanarak hipoksinin bilişsel işlevleri olumsuz yönde etkilediği anlaşılmaktadır.
A comparative study of effects on cognitive functions of hypoxia
For education of negative effects of hypoxic hypoxia in modern aviation in the ground conditions and to make researches, Low Pressure Chamber which can imitate 100.000 feet altitude is used in Eskisehir GATA Hospital- Air and Space Center since 1990. 30.000 feet altitude is usually enough for educational study. Showing the performance changes to the pilots under hypoxic condition makes education. The purpose of this study is to find the effects of 30.000 feet altitude on the cognitive functions.
The subjects are matched according to age, career, education status, social life and economical status. Every pilot who came to the center is included in the study. The number of pilot who was included in the study was 320.
Half of the pilots take off their oxygen masks at the 30.000 feet altitude and S.D. Porteus Labirent, Symbol Coding which was taken from WISC Test, Bender-Gestalt Test and test of writing 3 by 3 backwards from 100 is given to the pilots who got in to the chamber.
Finding correlation points of test and control group; 14 in S.D. Porteus Labirent and symbol coding test; 11 in Bender Gestalt Test; 16 in counting backwards shows significant relation (p<0.01 - p<0.001) between two groups. According to this, it is understood that the effects on cognitive functions of hypoxia in a negative way.
