Yeni Başlangıçlı Diyabetes Mellitusta İlk Elektrofizyolojik Anormallik: Otonom Testler

Amaç: Diyabetik nöropatinin elektrofizyolojik tanısında konvansiyonel sinir iletim çalışmaları (NCS) kullanılmaktadır. Çalışmamızın amacı diyabetik küçük lif nöropatisini yeni tanı almış tip 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) hasta grubunda otonomik testler kullanarak araştırmaktı. Yöntem: Çalışmamız son üç ay içinde yeni tanı almış tip 2 DM 49 hasta (24 kadın, 25 erkek) ve 25 gönüllü kontrol grubu üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Konvansiyonel NCS’ye ek olarak sempatik deri yanıtı (SSR) ve RR interval değişkenliği (RRIV) testleri yapıldı. The First Electrophysiological Abnormality in New-onset DM: Autonomic Tests
Introduction: Conventional nerve conduction studies (NCS) are used in the electrodiagnosis of diabetic neuropathy. The aim of our study was to investigate diabetic small fiber neuropathy in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) patient group by using autonomic tests. Methods: Our study was conducted on 49 patients (24 female, 25 male) who were newly diagnosed with type 2 DM in the last 3 months and a control group of 25 volunteers.
